Thanks for stopping by.
I'll be using this site to write about the web development projects I'm working on. If you want to see what I've been doing lately,
checkout the list below and hop on over to Github.
Web Development Projects
I am mostly self-taught, and I've learned the best way to pick up new skills is by creating small projects and hammering away at them until they work. Soon
I'll be writing more about my work on the projects below(and others to come), but for now here's a quick summary and a link to the repository on Github.
- NYTimes Web Reader App - A web app leveraging the NYTimes Top Stories API to display current headlines in each section. Built with React, Node, and Bootstrap.
- Medical Fee Schedule Lookup App - IN PROGRESS - As part of my day job, I'm converting Virginia's Medical Fee Schedule into a user-friendly lookup app. Built with React, Node, and Bootstrap.
Please note that this is a demo application and not an official application of the Commonwealth of Virginia or the Virginia Workers' Compensation Commission.
- Gmail Inbox Cleanup Script - Using Google Scripts, this one page script archives emails nightly if they are not tagged with a specified label.
- Benefits Calculator Application - Warning: The first code I ever wrote. Converted a legacy benefit calculator app into a web app with JavaScript, jQuery, and PureCSS. The official version now lives
here.
